Winter 2012

     Happy New Year!  WRR is looking forward to a great camping season.  We hope many of you will have an opportunity to visit us in 2012.  The office, store, and lounge are currently open Thursday-Sunday for reservations and inquiries.  Also reservations may be made online.

     WRR has completed a one-mile walking trail on the opposite side of the river from the Resort.  Guests may now park their vehicles at the trailhead before following the meadering trail along the West Walker River.  There will be picnic tables and benches along the trail in order to enjoy the scenic beauty.

     WRR's sporting clays schedule for 2012 is now available.  Check out Carson Valley Inn's 26th Annual Shoot Weekend which includes targets at Carson Valley Clays and Walker River Resort.

     There is limited camping during the winter...the bathhouse is closed and the water is turned off to the RV sites.  However, guests may fill up there water tanks in front of the store.
