The Walker River Resort offers a state of the art, fifteen station sporting clays course with all automatic throwers.  Target presentations are highly visible and diverse.  Shooting stations are set amongst natural sage, bitter brush and willows.  The course is abutted on the north side by rolling hills and ravines and to the south flows the scenic West Walker River.  The Resort’s Five-Stand shooting area is also a fun location for warm-up shotgun practice and games.  A wobble trap for Custer’s style shooting is also available for groups.  The Resort hosts numerous sporting clays fun day shoots throughout each year with participants at all levels of shooting ability welcome.

Excellent fly fishing is available right at the Resort and all through Wilson Canyon.  The canyon is always fun to explore after you have caught your limit.  Rock hounds will find samples of petrified wood, agates and other interesting rocks within walking distance of the Resort.

Thousands of BLM acres adjoin the Resort property and guests can ride their ATVs on hundreds of miles of established trails and dirt roads.  Take a day trip into the Sweetwater Mountains just south of the Resort or simply ride the twelve miles up to the ghost town of Ludwig, Nevada for a fun outing.

Relax

Or just relax at the beautiful pool and Jacuzzi complex.  Enjoy a soak in the hot tub after a full day’s activity and unwind beneath the stars in the attractive, highly crafted gazebo.

The pavilion with its breathtaking cliff-side lounge, “Hele’s”, hosts Nevada style gaming entertainment along with a full service bar.  Enjoy our full calendar of events including Live Music and Dances, Steak Barbeques, and Monday Night Football parties. Watch your favorite team on the Resort’s big screen TV.
